Wolfe Tones to play live at Grace’s Irish Sports Bar in Glasgow as excited punters prepare to buy tickets


IRISH rebel group The Wolfe Tones are set to perform at a Glasgow bar later this year.

Downtown Irish bar Grace’s Irish Bar has revealed that the Dublin-based band will be coming to entertain the crowds on Sunday, December 1.

The enthusiastic punters are already looking forward to the concert and have made their feelings clear in the comments.

In June, the Wolf Tones promised to land on Rockall to take control of their country.

The Scottish government has warned Irish fishing vessels not to fish near the disputed rock.

But popular Irish musicians have explained that they would be happy to sail a boat to Rockall themselves to pick it up.

In April, Airdrie manager Ian Murray gave a post-game interview as a pro-IRA song Wolf Tones rang in the background.

Boss Murray was speaking to the club’s media following his side’s 2-1 loss to League One rival Montrose.

The club then slammed the tune – and insisted it wasn’t from its own lodge.
