COUNTRY singer Daniel O’Donnell is known for his musical talent and adorable Donegal twang.
But the 60-year-old has a secret hobby outside of the music industry that fans may not know about.
Daniel was pictured alongside other Irish music and sports stars at a golf tournament at the Rosapenna Hotel & Golf Resort in Donegal yesterday.
Dressed in black shorts, a gray top and matching gray jacket, the singer performed on the Celebrity Series ahead of Irish Legends Presented by The McGinley Foundation.
Boyzone star Keith Duffy and Westlife star Brian McFadden, who also came out to support the Keating charity last week, were also pictured on the green.
Irish snooker player Ken Doherty, Irish GAA manager Jim Gavin, former Celtic goalkeeper Packie Bonner and Irishman Paul McGinley also attended.
And former Tottenham Hotspur goalkeeper Pat Jennings and former Scottish rugby union player Gavin Hastings also took part.
Daniel waved to spectators as he held his golf ball and tee before chatting with Jean Van de Velde from France.
The country music legend recently left his fans angry after making a hilarious TikTok video with one of his supporters in the pub.
TikTok user called ‘Donegal Daddy’ (Micheal) posted the video and captioned it: “Someone said Daniel O’Donnell was going to be there last night… Really wish I had met him… I haven’t seen it though!!”
In the video, the 60-year-old fan approached him claiming he didn’t know he was Daniel O’Donnell.
Micheal told her, “Hey, someone’s after saying Daniel O’Donnell was coming tonight.”
Looking surprised, the country singer replied, “You’re kidding, aren’t you?”
The TikTok star replied, “You tell me if you see it.”
To which Daniel replied, “I sure will. I wouldn’t mind having a picture with him.”
Everyone in the comments section was in tears laughing at the video.
This comes after Daniel lifted the lid on his retirement plans.
The Donegal native told how grateful he was for the life he had had so far and would consider himself lucky to live as long as his beloved mother, who died aged 95.
Daniel has enjoyed huge success throughout his years on stage and recently starred in a brand new documentary, Daniel at 60, which aired on RTE One in December.
