A taste of Ireland: The Irish Music and Dance Sensation returns to Geelong’s Costa Hall with a truly ‘Celtic – for this decade’ show on Saturday 26th March.
A song and dance extravaganza, this energetic and enjoyable feast of Irish music and dancing will feature a company of over 20 of the world’s greatest Irish dancers and musicians, including many world champions and stars of other well-known shows such as Riverdance and Lord of the Dance.
Featuring revamped classics like Danny Boy and Tell Me Ma, the energetic, live mix of well-known songs, jaw-dropping acapella tap battles, world-class dancing, melodic folk music mash-ups and craic galore transports you through the story of Ireland’s turbulent history, complete with stunning production and lighting.
“The Irish are known for having the ‘craic’, which is an Irish word for fun, and A Taste of Ireland is no different. You’ll laugh, dance and sing along with the performers celebrating all things Irish.
“There is something for everyone and you are guaranteed to leave feeling good. An evening with A Taste of Ireland is truly unforgettable and we look forward to sharing that with Victorian audiences,” said show producer Ceili Moore.
With beautiful scenic visuals, glitz, glamor and poetic storytelling, A Taste of Ireland combines upbeat beats with heartwarming emotion to create a showcase of contemporary Irish dance that will leave you screaming for more.
